In the golden days of the Venetian Republic, artists and artisans thrived through strong guilds — communities that protected tradition, trained the next generation, and celebrated craft.
But Venice’s strength didn’t stop at its own shores. Merchant ships, artists, and ideas flowed in and out, making the city a true crossroads of culture.
Aizenev is reviving that spirit — for a new generation.
We promote artists and artisans who live or work in Venice, or who are drawn here to create.
Whether you’re a painter, performer, ceramicist, sculptor, or other creative, we want to help you grow your work, your visibility, and your impact.

We work with a select group of artists whose incredible stories connect Venice to the wider world.
Sofia is a painter whose work explores a personal and intimate vision of the world around her. Through compositions marked by enigma and gentle eccentricity, she seeks to evoke the surreal magic hidden within daily life. Colour plays a central role in her creative process, acting as a lens through which she reveals reality.
Saruul is an Italian artist of Mongolian heritage based in Venice. Her work blends abstract and symbolic realism to explore the dialogue between resilient identity, territory, and memory. Dreamlike elements and natural forms like water shape her visual language, reflecting the connection between human experience and the natural world.
Saruul Davaapurev
Nicolò Rusca is a visual storyteller who began using photography during his ethnographic studies in Venice. His work blends documentary and art, exploring identity, memory, and place through intimate images that reflect personal and social narratives.
